DETREE Community Heart Hub Day Centre provides high-quality, inclusive daytime opportunities for people of all abilities, including individuals who may require additional health or physical support.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone receives person-centred, respectful support and meaningful opportunities to live well, build confidence, and participate fully in their community.

OUR MISSION

At DETREE Community Heart Hub Day Centre, our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and high-quality community space where everyone is valued, supported, and empowered as an individual.

We take a person-centred approach, working in small, supportive groups and in close partnership with families, carers, and local services, ensuring each person feels heard, respected, and encouraged.

DETREE Community Heart Hub Day Centre offers meaningful opportunities and activities, both within the centre and in the wider community, to help people build confidence, develop communication and life skills, strengthen independence, and work towards their personal goals and aspirations at their own pace.

We envision a society where people are supported as individuals, encouraged to grow in confidence and independence, and given the opportunity to participate fully in community life, free from barriers or labels

  • We provide individualised, person-centred support, enabling people to maximise their potential and achieve outcomes that matter to them
  • Our service is delivered within a safe, calm, and accessible environment, supporting wellbeing and positive engagement
  • We promote social interaction, inclusion, and meaningful participation, enabling people to engage, learn, and interact together
  • The service operates Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 4:00pm (excluding Bank Holidays), offering flexible attendance options from one to five days per week in line with individual needs and care plans
  • We take a strengths-based approach, supporting individuals to identify aspirations and set personal goals through agreed support plans
  • We provide a structured programme of activities and new experiences, designed to promote independence, confidence, and quality of life
  • We work in partnership with families, carers, and relevant professionals, ensuring coordinated and consistent support
  • Individual progress, outcomes, and achievements are regularly monitored, reviewed, and documented as part of ongoing support planning
  • We deliver a skills development programme, supporting daily living skills, communication, confidence, and community participation
  • We facilitate weekly community-based activities and outings (every Thursday) to promote inclusion, choice, and real-world engagement

Provide Supportive Day Services

We deliver high-quality, personalised day services for individuals who need support to live more independently and enjoy a fulfilling life.

Deliver Engaging Activities

Our daily programme includes creative workshops, social events, physical activities, outings, and skill-building sessions — ensuring there is something meaningful for everyone.

Promote Dignity and Respect

Every interaction at our Centre is guided by respect, compassion, and dignity. We provide a safe, welcoming environment where everyone is valued.

Empower Service Users

We actively encourage individuals to take part in decisions about their care, activities, and the direction of the Centre. Your voice and your choices truly matter.

Offer Flexible Participation

Our Drop-In sessions and flexible schedules allow people to attend as often as they wish and take part in the activities that interest them most.

Work in Trusted Partnerships

We work in close partnership with INADES (Initiative for the Advancement of Ethical Standards) and Nurakeem Services Ltd — a CQC-licensed care provider with over 17 years of experience — ensuring the highest standards of care and ethical practice.

Build Community and Belonging

We foster a strong sense of community, supporting friendships and meaningful connections between service users, staff, families, and the wider community.
